This fall, Red Cliffs aims to further highlight The Terrace, among other improvements, with a concert series featuring dazzling performances from a diverse lineup of musicians based right here in Southern Utah.

“Red Cliffs is the community’s place to shop, eat and play,” general manager Cory Ashby said. “We’re always on the lookout for great talent in the area.”

Offering good vibes and heavy grooves designed to make the masses move, Mr. OK & The Last Light are sure to get everybody on their feet with a unique fusion of funk, hip-hop and reggae on Saturday, Oct. 28. If you’re looking for a bite to eat while you enjoy the show, WannaCinn and Kaiseki Sushi will be offering exclusive deals.

Local artist Mr. OK, best known for his signature sound that incorporates live looping technology, originally assembled The Last Light as a backing band to breathe new life into his solo arrangements. However, it didn’t take long for all six musicians to realize the enormous potential of their collaboration.

Each member of The Last Light brings an impressive musical résumé to the table. They’ve been creating together since the summer of 2021, blending various influences to develop a style of groove music unlike anything else in Southern Utah’s music scene. Their debut EP, “Music is the Medicine,” was released earlier this year.

“It’s super cool music,” Ashby said. “It’s going to be a little different than what we’ve done in the past, so we’re excited to bring another genre of music to Red Cliffs.”

Red Cliffs will continue to celebrate exciting local talent all season long. At the next concert on Saturday, Nov. 11, the Siva Pasefika cultural group will bring the spirit of Polynesia to Southern Utah with a showcase of music and dance deeply rooted in tradition.

Each performance lasts from 7-9 p.m. and is free to attend. Limited seating will be provided, so guests are encouraged to bring a chair or a blanket and make themselves comfortable on the grassy area near the stage. Along with enjoying live music, concertgoers can browse a variety of vendor booths.

There’s always something happening at Red Cliffs. On Tuesday, Oct. 31, from 5-7 p.m., bring the kids to Malloween for trick-or-treating, crafts with The Tilted Kiln, treats from Mary’s Mountain Cookies, live music, giveaways and more. There will also be prizes for the best costumes and a chance to meet magical characters from Ever After Events.

Red Cliffs has been Southern Utah’s premier retail destination since opening in 1990. As the only major indoor shopping center between Las Vegas and the Wasatch Front, it features more than 60 stores and nearly 450,000 square feet of retail space.

With grass areas, waterfalls and seating built into the landscape, The Terrace is the centerpiece of an ongoing rejuvenation project that aligns the mall’s offerings with what today’s customers want and need. That includes even more shopping and dining options, like the Al’s Sporting Goods, Tillys, WannaCinn and Kaiseki Sushi locations that opened earlier this year.
