The city of St. George will be closing the north side of Snow Canyon Parkway from the state Route 18/Bluff Street intersection to the entry of The Cliffs subdivision. The chip seal work will take place from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Chip seal maintenance will then move to the lanes on the south side of Snow Parkway on June 4 with traffic being impacted from 6:30 to 4 p.m.

During chip seal operations, access to Snow Canyon Parkway will be impacted. Intersections with traffic signals will be operational. On other cross streets only right turns will be permitted (see the map).

Motorists who choose to travel on Snow Canyon Parkway are encouraged to remain alert and be vigilant about following posted signage. However, it is also highly encouraged that motorists avoid Snow Canyon Parkway on those Sundays and take an alternative route if possible.

Work set for June 4 may be subject to change depending on the weather or other unforeseen events.
