AGC of Utah, in partnership with the National Association of Women in Construction-Salt Lake Chapter No. 90, and Career Tech High School, St. George, is calling all kids in grades K-5 to enter the second Annual Block Kids Building Competition on Oct. 27 at the new CT High School.

Participants will be asked to create something construction-related without adult help or guidance using provided small interlocking blocks and a few building materials within a 40-minute timed period. Each student will then meet with a judge who will rate the project and ask the student a series of questions about their structure.

Every participant will receive a hat, construction vest and more! First – fifth places will be awarded, and the first-place child will advance to the National Competition automatically.

The cost is $10 per child. Pre-registration is required and limited. All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event.

Please visit our website for more information and to fill out your registration form. (Registration will not be complete until the fee and form are received.)

Check-in is at 12:30 p.m. The competition starts at 1 p.m.
