ST. GEORGE — Police say a driver failing to yield to oncoming traffic caused a two-vehicle crash at the corner of Riverside Drive and River Road just before the crack of dawn Wednesday morning.

There were minor injuries to both drivers, who were the only passengers in each vehicle, police said.
The crash occurred just before 6:50 a.m. at the corner that is commonly the site of crashes and involved a Scion sports car and a Honda Clarity sedan. The driver of the Clarity was cited for failing to yield, police said.
“She just thought she had a green arrow and did not,” St. George Police Officer Tiffany Mitchell said.
