B2Z: Local teen reaches out, gives back through wholesome clothing line Project 24/17

SOUTHERN UTAH — B2Z is a new Canyon Media production created to give the community a personal, in-depth look at some of the most unique and amazing businesses in Southern Utah.

In this episode, host Carrie Bunker met up with Noah Leeds, the inspiring young entrepreneur behind the new clothing brand Project 24/17. Although he’s still just a teenager, Leeds has big dreams and plans to help make the world a better place.

Project 24/17 is more than just an apparel company – it’s a movement. Leeds and his team are striving to create a brand with a deeper meaning, one that reminds the world to smile through clothes, content and actions. Every item, from hats and hoodies to sweatshirts and T-shirts, is embroidered with a wholesome and uplifting message.

Leeds launched Project 24/17 in February 2023 as a way to chase a dream and spread some smiles along the way.  He had always wanted to own a clothing brand, and he holds a true passion for giving back to the community.

“I moved here halfway through high school from Washington state, never moved before. I went through some real mental struggles and experiences that I really had to find some good positivity, a good foundation,” he said. “The idea is that it takes 17 muscles in your face to smile, and you should use them 24/7.”

Project 24/17 recently released a limited edition line of holiday-themed hoodies and sweatshirts, with 100% of the profits going to benefit the wife and children of local football coach Mike Fox, who died suddenly on Thanksgiving morning at age 41. Although he had never met the Fox family before learning about their tragic loss, Leeds, a student at Crimson Cliffs High School, felt compelled to help.

“I want to use my platform for good,” he said. “I don’t want to spread a message without actively living and acting on it.”
