ST. GEORGE — Last week, a defendant and former business owner was sentenced in a case filed in 2021 after a state investigator received multiple complaints alleging a fraud scheme that bilked car dealerships, lenders and consumers out of nearly $2 million.

Jeep rolls at Sand Hollow State Park; 1 patient transported to hospital

HURRICANE — A woman in a customized, lifted white Jeep took a turn too sharply and rolled the vehicle, resulting in her being transported to the hospital on Saturday.

SOUTHERN UTAH — In the spring of 1862, George and Betsy Hicks panicked when they received the news from Salt Lake City. The young family was living comfortably near Spanish Fork when they learned they were among those called to help settle Washington County.
