Jeff Barlow

Jeff Barlow, 69, passed away Oct. 25, 2023. He was born Dec. 3, 1953, to Nathan Bernus Barlow and Dixie Marion Hirschi. He married Diane Worthington Barlow on Feb. 9, 1980. Later they were sealed in the St. George Temple on Feb. 16, 1983

Jeff Graduated from Dixie High School. He was a member of The Buckaroos. Jeff was a member of the Dixie College and Utah Valley University rodeo team. He qualified for the wilderness circuit finals multiple times. Jeff and Diane met at Dick’s café, where Diane was his favorite waitress. 

Jeff spent his career in construction, building roads and bridges for 40 years. He loved to team rope, hunt, and fish. Not many things brought more joy to him than roping and hunting, other than his family. Jeff loved to spend time with family. You could always find Jeff at the high school rodeos, dance recitals or sporting events watching his kids and grandkids do what they loved. He was their biggest fan and was so proud of all they did. Jeff made friends everywhere he went. He will be greatly missed by his loved ones!

He is survived by his wife Diane Barlow of St. George, Utah; children, Trisha (Brock) Riding of St. George, Holly (Jason) Madison of Enterprise, Utah, Brady (Ally) Barlow of St. George, Kodi (Mitch) Thacker of St. George, his grandchildren, Carson (Holly), Garrett, Jacie and Kylie Riding, Maizee, Jaxton, Jailee, Teydon, &and Harper Madison, Kingston, Reign, Rio, and Banks Barlow, Bently, Quincy, Remi, and Stori Thacker, mother-in-Law, Evelyn Worthington of Washington, Utah, brothers, Brett (Beki) Barlow of Dammeron Valley, Utah, Stephen (Zoya) Barlow of Albion, California.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Marion Barlow, brothers, Clayton Barlow, Bruce Barlow and Alan Barlow and father-in-law Gordon Worthington. 

Our family would like to personally thank Dixie Hospice and Spilsbury Mortuary for all their love and care.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, Oct. 29, from 5-7 p.m., at Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 South Bluff St., St. George, Utah. 

Funeral services will be Monday, Oct. 30, at 11 a.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Little Valley Ward Building, 3868 Bentley Road, St. George, Utah. A viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m., prior to services. 

Interment will be in Washington City Cemetery, 300 Park View Drive, Washington, Utah, following the service.
