FEATURE — With a fortuitous full moon in high-achieving Capricorn, this week is all about going after what you want.

This week’s major energetic influences begin Sunday at 8:33 a.m. with a square between Venus in Leo and Uranus in Taurus, which could bring anything from unexpected shocks to romance. Following in the footsteps of Mars square Uranus, which occurred last week, this aspect could stir up some restlessness, as well as a desire to feel a greater sense of independence within a relationship.

On Monday, a full moon at 11 degrees Capricorn will illuminate the early morning sky at 5:38 a.m. MDT. Known as the “Buck Moon,” this moon symbolizes midsummer and is named for buck’s antlers reaching their peak of growth. The energy of a full moon begins to build about three days before and can have rippling effects that continue for two weeks.

In general, around the time of a full moon, emotions run high and whatever may have been lying dormant now pushes to the surface. But this sudden burst of energy is meant to push us into action. Full moons are a time of culmination, especially related to things that were put into motion two weeks ago on the new moon in Gemini or six months ago around the new moon in Capricorn. Full moons also can indicate endings.

Activating the axis of foundation, the full moon in Capricorn opposes the sun in Cancer. Symbolized by the mountain goat and ruled by practical, responsible Saturn, the sign of Capricorn is all about reaching for and working hard toward our goals. Conversely, Cancer represents our heritage, family, home and mother — what roots us to Earth.

With a full moon in Capricorn, we are being asked to find a balance between career and home life, legacy versus lineage.

But this full moon is receiving extra love and fortuitous energy from Mars, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn. If there was ever a time to say that the universe “has your back,” it would be under the golden light of this full moon.

So what does all of this mean for you? Find out below.

Aries
March 21-April 19

With the full moon activating your 10th house of career and public status on Monday, the limelight is on you, dear Aries. A work romance is possible under this influence. If you’re wanting to meet someone new, you may need to push yourself outside of your comfort zone and take a risk. For those in established bonds, you may decide to collaborate. Friendships are likely to blossom now. Since all eyes are on you, this is a time to put your best forward. Creative inspiration could unexpectedly burst forth unexpectedly. Make sure you’re there to catch it.

Sunday could bring unexpected surprises to matters related to home and identity, as your ruling planet Venus squares up with Uranus, dear Taurus. This is not the time to make any permanent changes to your appearance, such as a tattoo or a drastic new haircut, as you may end up regretting it later. The full moon is activating your sector of higher wisdom and beliefs revving up your desire for adventure.

With Mars and Venus in your fourth house, a desire to find a new home could benefit from your own worldly experiences. People from the past could be showing up now, as well as old flames. There also could be an inclination to fall back on an old pattern with a current partner that may or not be a good idea. If you’ve been trying to connect to a bigger audience, this is a time when you should consider the resources you have in order to bridge that gap. If you’ve been wanting to rekindle romance in an existing relationship, this is the time to take make a move.

With its beneficial aspect to Mars and Venus in your second house of finances, this is a time to connect with people and collaborate, especially in terms of opening opportunities for putting money in the bank. You may also now collect on financial ventures or solidify a business idea.

Someone from the past may show up or you could meet someone who reminds you of an old flame. Whether this is someone you’re open to is a different story. For those in an established bond, beneficial energy abounds to enrich this relationship, but it would be better to wait until later in the week.

And you may spontaneously decide to cut a habit.

A chance to meet a potential romantic partner is on the table, and so it is a time to be out in places where you can mingle with others, especially with Venus and Mars amping up your charisma and drawing people toward you. It may be best to work on any existing relationship issues with a current partner until the latter half of this month.

The full moon is activating a part of your sky that deals with communication, short-distance travel and learning, dear Scorpio. In tandem with the Venus-Mars conjunction in your 10th house of career, this is an advantageous time for those who create music, dance, write or work with their hands to take what you are doing and possibly turn it into a full-time job.

That doesn’t mean this will be easy; it’s more about considering how you can leverage this energy to benefit your career or what you see as your legacy. The potential to meet someone new at this time is on offer. Your personal magnetism is amped and it is easier for you to draw others toward you.
