ST. GEORGE — The Fourth of July is about a week away, and as the annual day of celebration nears, “Liberty Week” events aim to bring together the community in honor of the nation’s values and principles.

According to a news release from Washington County, “residents and visitors can look forward to a series of exciting events, engaging activities and meaningful commemorations” between June 26 and July 4. Among the attractions will be the “Blueprints of Liberty” Glenn Beck exhibit that “encompasses a unique presentation of our nation’s history, ” according to the Washington County Commission, which secured this patriotic display.

“We are thrilled to launch Liberty Week here in Washington County,” Commissioner Adam Snow said in a news release. “This week serves as a reminder of the cherished freedoms we hold dear and an opportunity to come together as a community to celebrate our shared values. We invite everyone to join us in these festivities and be a part of this remarkable celebration of liberty.”

Throughout the week, attendees can immerse themselves in various family-friendly activities including parades, fireworks displays, concerts, historical exhibitions and other family-friendly activities. The festivities aim to foster community spirit, highlight the significance of liberty and pay tribute to the sacrifices that have shaped the nation’s history, the news release said.
