Bring the whole family for a full night of fun, including a live concert, hourly color powder tossing, access to the bar (ages 21 and up only), a 30-minute session of yoga led by Bree Beal and access to merchandise along with activity and food vendors. During the event, there will be music spun by DJ Hot Rod, DJ D-Rey, DJ EZ, DECØN and DJ Mezz feat. Maylin.

Originally known as Holi, the Hindu festival of colors symbolizes the triumph of good over evil, the arrival of spring and the blossoming of love. It has also been called the “festival of spring” and the “festival of love.”

Rod Grajales, event coordinator for Zion Live Entertainment, said that the Festival of Colors in St. George will be celebrated a little differently but carries a similar positive message.

“At Geezy Fest we are celebrating change, new beginnings and positivity. We have a very large diversity in Southern Utah nowadays, and that continues to grow as more people from all over the states move here,” he added. “That’s why we adopted the Festival of Colors theme – to represent the diversity of different beliefs, races, sexual orientations, ages, and to bring unity to our community.”

This year’s event will feature popular hip-hop artist B.o.B. The Geezy Fest headliner is most known for his hits “Nothin’ On You” (feat. Bruno Mars), “Airplanes” (feat. Hayley Williams from Paramore) and his feature in the song “Price Tag” by Jessie J. B.o.B was also nominated at the 2011 Grammys for Best Rap Album and Record of the Year.

Grajales, aka DJ Hot Rod, has been organizing events in Southern Utah since 2018. He first started Down Under Dixie with a business partner and branched off to create Zion Live Entertainment in February 2021.

“As the name suggests, we wanted to bring in live entertainment. B.o.B is going to be the first big-name artist that we’re bringing in,” he said.

Zion Live Entertainment strives to provide more nightlife events for adults in St. George to enjoy and has quickly revolutionized the future of live music entertainment in Southern Utah. Their first event was last year’s Festival of Colors. Grajales expects the event to grow tremendously this year and continue to rise in attendees over the next few years.

Come celebrate life with friends and family at the Festival of Colors. Doors for the event open at 4 p.m., with the final headliner, B.o.B, taking the stage at 9 p.m. Pre-sale tickets are available for purchase now.
