ST. GEORGE — It’s time for a brand-new episode of “What’s on the Menu” with host Sheldon Demke and special guest Mikey Foley, co-host of Mikey & The Mrs. on Planet 105.1. And this week, they took the show to a brand-new destination, Soul Ramen & Noodle Bar, for a thrilling fusion of authentic Asian cuisine.
Located in The Shoppes at Zion, Soul Ramen & Noodle Bar is a locally owned small business. Although they’re mostly known for ramen, they’ve recently added Korean barbecue and shabu-shabu, a popular Japanese hot pot dish, to their menu. Owner Michael Yeung said it’s like being able to eat at three restaurants in one trip.

Demke and Foley enjoyed their meal in Korean-style communal dining, where everything is shared and it’s truly “all you can eat.” They started by cooking the meat themselves and also chose specific ingredients to add to their shabu-shabu hot pot.
“This is fun!” Foley said. “I feel like I’m in a cooking class, but I’m not getting kicked out.”
At Soul Ramen & Noodle Bar, customers can build the ramen of their dreams. Select from different broth flavors and noodle options, including traditional ramen, udon and rice noodles, or add homemade wontons.
Soul Ramen & Noodle Bar also offers a unique twist on boba drinks. Get refreshed with fresh-brewed tea, fresh fruit, crushed ice and popping bubbles of mango, strawberry, passionfruit and more.
“It’s got a cool vibe in here,” Demke said. “I feel like I’m transported into another land, and I love it.”
