Police: Man cited for careless driving after rollover incident on SR-18 in St. George

ST. GEORGE — A driver was uninjured but cited as a result of a rollover crash on state Route 18 at mile marker 5 in St. George on Wednesday.

He told police at the scene he was adjusting his climate control when he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to leave the roadway and roll an undetermined number of times, St. George Police Public Information Officer Tiffany Mitchell told St. George News.

Following the crash, the driver was able to exit the white Toyota Camry on his own. When checked by medical, he was found to be uninjured, Mitchell added.

Glass from the vehicle was found scattered up to 100 feet from the crash site.

The driver was cited for careless driving, Mitchell said.

Zion Motors responded to the scene and towed the vehicle from the site.
