October is sure to be a busy month for Black Desert! In addition to welcoming the PGA Tour for the Black Desert Championship, the resort itself and five restaurants – two along the golf course and three within the hotel area – will be opening to the public.

Ryker Brown, director of food and beverage for Black Desert, strives to create a dining experience that goes beyond just the meal. It’s about the memories made, the flavors discovered and the joy shared around the table. Every bite tells a story, and every dish is an adventure waiting to be savored.

The first restaurants to open will be Club 73 and Oasis. Catering to hungry golfers with genuine hospitality, the atmosphere is casual but the ingredients are top-notch.

With the executive chef already on board, hiring season is in full swing. Black Desert’s culinary team is currently building the menu for Latitude, a casual, family-friendly dining experience serving elevated comfort food. Guests can even try a Beehive State favorite with the funeral potatoes.

“This is probably going to be one of our signature dishes,” Brown said. “We made this into a croquette and we serve it with fry sauce and herb purée, so it’s very unique. We’re drawing into Utah cuisine but elevating it.”
