REI Co-op unveils plans to open St. George location by 2025, more across country

ST. GEORGE — St. George is among the locations where specialty outdoor retailer REI Co-op plans to open one of 10 new stores.

While facilities in Glendale, Arizona, and Rancho Mirage, California, are scheduled for a summer 2024 opening, the St. George store will open in 2025, according to a news release from REI.

Each new location will feature a full-service bike shop equipped with technicians for bike maintenance, and the St. George store will also have a ski and snowboard shop.

“We look forward to serving as a welcoming resource to everyone through our staff’s expertise and broad product assortment,” REI Vice President of Stores Mary-Farrell Tarbox said in a news release. “We look forward to serving as a welcoming resource to everyone through our staff’s expertise and broad product assortment.”
