The last three home games for the Trailblazers, all UAC contests, will be against Austin Peay (Oct. 19), Central Arkansas (Nov. 2) and West Georgia (Nov. 16).

All three of those games are slated to kickoff at Greater Zion Stadium at 2 p.m.

Also of note, the Trailblazers will take on rival Southern Utah University in The Battle For the Axe Nov. 23 at 1 p.m. in Cedar City in Utah Tech’s final game of the season. Click here to view the full schedule.

Trailblazers welcome Big Ten quarterback

According to multiple media sources, former Wisconsin and Iowa quarterback Deacon Hill will be coming to Utah Tech via the transfer portal.

Hill spent portions of 2021 and 2022 at Wisconsin, backing up starter Graham Mertz. He entered the transfer portal and went to Iowa, where an injury to starter Cade McNamara moved Hill to QB1 for the Hawkeyes.

Originally from Santa Barbara, California, Hill went 6-1 under center for Iowa last year before the Hawkeyes fell to Michigan in the Big Ten Championship and then lost to Tennessee in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl.

First-year Utah Tech head coach Lance Anderson now has a quarterback room that features Hill, Syracuse transfer Luke MacPhail and former Dixie standout Reggie Graff.
