Legacy Village offers independent living, assisted living and memory care for seniors in one of Southern Utah’s most desirable locations. Occupying 9 acres in the Green Valley area, the community blends retirement living with exceptional service and a warm sense of belonging.

“Our mission is serving you like family,” executive director Jason Erickson said.

At Legacy Village, 120 independent living apartments provide seniors the comfort and freedom of owning their own home with the convenience of being located within a retirement community. Each apartment features a full kitchen and laundry room, 12-foot ceilings and beautiful views from either a balcony or a patio.

Life is easier at Legacy Village, Erickson said, and independent living residents enjoy the best of both worlds by combining maintenance-free homeownership with 24/7 security and transportation assistance. Housekeeping and utilities are included as well.

Legacy Village also encompasses 106 assisted living apartments for seniors requiring extra care. Apartments range in size from a 600-square-foot studio to a 1,400-square-foot two-bedroom layout. Personal and medical services are available around the clock.

With different levels of care available, Legacy Village residents only pay for what they need. The staff works with residents, their family members and their medical providers to determine the amount of assistance that will be most beneficial.

All residents enjoy access to resort-style dining, activities and amenities including two fitness centers, a heated pool and spa, a pickleball court, a putting green, a movie theater and a beauty salon. The restaurant offers a full menu and is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Vista rooms and tranquil courtyards throughout the community provide breathtaking views of Snow Canyon and the Red Mountain.

Independent and assisted living apartments are still available but selling quickly, Erickson said, so don’t wait to schedule a tour of the community.

Locally owned and proudly serving Utah for over 25 years, Legacy Village is a trusted name in senior living. The company operates 19 retirement communities across five states and opened the St. George location in May 2022.

“The same ownership group that started Legacy Village in South Jordan in 1996 still owns it today, which is very unique in the health care industry,” Erickson said.

The caring staff of Legacy Village believes that the more residents can be independent, the healthier they’ll be and the better they’ll feel. No matter what stage of life seniors are in, maximizing their independence, maintaining their dignity and offering them choices are key priorities.

Legacy Village is more than just a place to live; it’s a place to create lasting memories with loved ones. With so much to do, every resident will surely find something that sparks their passion.
