Help and hope as you navigate the season following divorce or separation

Post-breakup holidays look different. After separation or divorce, your Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays won’t look the same as they used to. Traditions change. Some family members won’t be there. Social gatherings can feel stressful. But Divorce Care Surviving the Holidays can help.

The DivorceCare Surviving the Holidays Seminar will be held on Saturday, October 21 from 9 am to 11 am at New Promise Lutheran Church, St. George. This short event includes a video, sharing time, and a “Survival Guide” filled with tips and encouragement for managing the holidays after separation and divorce. By attending Surviving the Holidays, you’ll learn how to:

–Manage difficult emotions
–Survive social events
–Give your kids a good holiday experience
–Find hope for your future

During the 30 minute video presentation you’ll hear holiday survival tips from experts on divorce-related issues, plus real-life stories of people who have successfully navigated the holidays after divorce and separation. Following the video, you will hear other seminar attendees explain how they are dealing with the holidays. Share how your separation or divorce is affecting you. (No pressure to talk—sharing is optional.)

You’ll receive a personal copy of the DivorceCare holiday Survival Guide, filled with tips, resources, and encouragement to help you through the holiday season. There is a $5 charge for the Survival Guide, but there is no other charge for the event.
