ST. GEORGE — The St. George Police Department is seeking the public’s help to locate a mother and her three children who went missing Monday afternoon. Police say they are considered to be in danger.
According to information released by St. George Police Officer Tiffany Mitchell on the department’s social media page, 27-year-old Brittany Etta Deal’s three children were last seen on Monday shortly after 5:15 p.m., when they were picked up from a daycare center in St. George by 36-year-old David Gene Remley. Remley was reportedly driving a white GMC Terrain registered to the children’s mother with a Utah license plate of 5AF687.
Police say they don’t know if the mother was inside the vehicle at the time or her current whereabouts.
Remley is described as a 5-foot-10-inch white man weighing about 185 pounds. He has blonde or sandy hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a striped T-shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
Deal is described as a 5-foot-1-inch white woman with bleached blonde hair and blue eyes. She has a dermal piercing on her right cheek, a tattoo of mountains and arrowheads on her left arm and flowers on her right thigh.
The three children are described as follows: Braylee Michelle Kelly, 9, is a 5-foot white girl with brown hair and brown eyes who weighs 80 pounds; Quentin Michael Kelly, 5, is a 4-foot-8-inch white boy who weighs about 60 pounds; and Brixton King Haley, 2, is a 3-foot white boy who weighs approximately 45 pounds.
There is an active protective order between Deal and Remley in place that was filed following a recent family altercation, police say.
“Because of this, we consider Brittany, Quetin, Braylee, and Briston to be endangered,” Mitchell said in the social media release.
The incident is currently under investigation.
“Finding them safe is our highest priority,” Mitchell said.
