HURRICANE — Two people were sent to the hospital Saturday afternoon after a multi-vehicle collision in Hurricane.

According to the Hurricane Valley Fire and Rescue Facebook page, emergency crews responded to a collision at 1150 W. State Street involving two vehicles and six patients at approximately 4:30 p.m.
According to the social media post, extrication tools were required to free some of the individuals from one of the vehicles involved.
Two patients were transported to the hospital for further care, while the remaining four were treated at the scene and released, according to the post.
Hurricane City Police Department officers also aided ambulance and fire department personnel at the scene.
