Stuart Bradley Vaughn

Stuart Bradley Vaughn, known affectionately as Stu, passed away on Feb. 23, 2024, in St. George, Utah, at the age of 55. Born on Dec. 4, 1968, in Orange, California, Stuart was a beloved figure in his community and amongst his family.

Stuart’s early education was completed in Santa Ana, California, where he attended Santiago Elementary and Willard Junior High, followed by Santa Ana High School. His career path included working at Disneyland in the 1980s and UPS in the 1990s  Most recently, he worked with Andrus Trucking until 2023, where he was valued for his work ethic.

A man of many interests, Stuart was passionate about art, and often found painting or sketching. His love for the outdoors was evident in his enthusiasm for skateboarding, surfing and riding his Vespa scooter. His hobbies allowed him to express his adventurous spirit.

Stuart was a devoted member of the Valley Bible Church in Enoch, Utah, where he found a community of faith that supported his giving nature and commitment to service.

Described as a kind and giving man, Stuart was particularly noted for his care of those often overlooked and forgotten. His role as a caretaker shone brightest when he looked after his parents, Carroll and Mary Vaughn, both of who preceded him in death during their declining health.

Stuart is survived by his brother Randy Vaughn, sister-in-law Kristi Vaughn and nephews Hayden and Kurtis Vaughn, who will miss him dearly. His life was a testament to the power of kindness, community and family.

Stuart’s memorial service will be Friday, July 26, at 7 p.m. at Valley Bible Church, 4780 N Old Hwy 91, Enoch, Utah.
