ST. GEORGE — A man walked away unhurt after his vehicle caught fire and was totally destroyed Wednesday afternoon near Virgin.
A post on the Hurricane Valley Fire & Rescue Facebook page said that crews responded to the single-vehicle fire at 1:30 p.m. The post did not list the exact location of the vehicle.
The post stated that the driver said that smoke started to fill the cab from vents on the floor while he was driving. The driver was able to pull the vehicle over and safely got out of it without injury, according to the post.
Crews were able to quickly douse the blaze shortly after arriving on scene, according to the post.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
