Nov. 10, 1990-June 30, 2024

Bransen Norval Bryels-Nechanicky, of Washington City, Utah, was tragically and unexpectedly taken from us on June 30, 2024, at the young age of 33. He was the victim of gun violence by an intruder in his home.

Born on Nov. 10, 1990, to Rhonda Bryels-Nechanicky and Norval Nechanicky in Redding, California, he graduated from Foothills High School in Redding in 2009.

Bransen was a true light to all who knew him. He was always smiling. He could effortlessly make you laugh. If you listened closely to all he had to say in any given conversation, you would see that his thoughts and perspectives were impactful and unique. So many who were lucky enough to have these conversations with him would tell you that they were left better from these conversations. He will be remembered for many traits, not the least of which is his intellectual nature that kept him in tune with the unspoken important pieces of life that many take for granted. He was someone whose memory was so good, he could often be counted on for random jaunts down memory lane, revisiting special moments he shared with you years prior. 

Bransen was so appreciative of the little things in life, he could re-invigorate your love for a memory that you otherwise may have never considered again. He had a way of making every moment special. And Bransen would enter a room with his beautiful big smile, so contagious that others couldn’t help but feel uplifted and follow with their own smiles.

In recent years, Bransen seemed to truly find himself. Bransen was living a fulfilling life in Southern Utah with his beloved Carla and working in construction performing residential concrete. He was also proud to have recently obtained his contractor’s license, attesting to the level of skills he had acquired over the last several years. So many people who have received messages from him in the last year would tell you he was truly excited for the future.

Bransen was taken from us much too soon and will be missed beyond measure. 

Bransen was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Cy (Cyrill) and Sirie (Sigrid) Nechanicky. He is survived by his mother Rhonda Bryels-Nechanicky, of Redding, California, and his father, Norval Nechanicky, also of Redding, Califormia. He is also survived by his beloved Carla Ninamango of Washington City, Utah; siblings: Joe Nechanicky of Hamilton, Montana; Lisa Nechanicky (Clayton Peterson) of Albany, Oregon; Triere (Jackie) Nechanicky of Royce City, Texas; and Jevvin Nechanicky (Adam Toth) of Gilbert, Arizona; nephews Ethan Nechanicky, Max Nechanicky and Koen Nechanicky, and nieces Sighni Peterson and Emma Nechanicky; and his cherished dog Blue. 

Bransen’s memorial service will take place on Saturday, July 20, at 10 a.m. at the Lawncrest Chapel, 1522 East Cypress Ave, Redding, California.  Internment will immediately follow at the Lawncrest Memorial Park adjacent to Lawncrest Chapel. A Celebration of Life for Bransen will follow, beginning at 1 p.m. at the Shasta District Fair and Event Center, 1890 Briggs St, Anderson, California, approximately 11 miles south from Lawncrest Chapel.
