“The next few weeks will have some great entertainment,” Bumbleberry Theater owner Stan Smith said. “We’re looking forward to bringing these talented bands up here, and where else would you rather be when it’s 105 degrees outside?”

Don’t miss a thrilling performance from John Houston’s Legends of Rock on Saturday, July 27. Featuring the music of Styx, Journey, Foreigner, Aerosmith, The Who, Led Zeppelin, REO Speedwagon, The Doobie Brothers and many more, it’s the ultimate tribute show to the very best of rock ‘n’ roll from the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s. The band is comprised of five guys who love to rock and do it well – they’re all professional musicians with decades of recording and touring experience.

Legends of Rock is led by Southern Utah native John Houston, a renowned studio engineer and session musician who has been recorded on over 1,000 songs across various genres, including gospel, blues and rock. He’s currently involved with seven bands, four of which tour across the United States and Canada, and serves as music director for the Hale Centre Theatre in Gilbert, Arizona.

The band also features Luke Randall (lead vocals and guitar), a dynamic entertainer who played hundreds of shows as the house guitarist for “Piano Man: A Tribute To Elton John and Billy Joel” on the Las Vegas Strip. Rounding out the lineup are Rick Houston (lead guitar and vocals), who plays guitar and sings in multiple rock and country bands throughout Utah, Nevada and California; Joe Costello (bass), a classically trained guitarist and music teacher with over 30 years of experience; and Dutch Workman (drums), who has toured with Eric Dodge and Tom Matz and contributed his talent to hundreds of studio recordings.

The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $15 per person and can be purchased online or at the door if still available. However, Smith said he expects it to sell out.

“They’re an impressive group of musicians,” he added. “It’s well worth the money.”

A consistently popular band among local audiences, Juniper City combines modern folk melodies with rich acoustic harmonies to create a sound deeply rooted in the heart of Utah’s ruggedly beautiful landscapes. The group brings an infectious energy to their live shows and has performed at venues throughout Southern Utah over the past decade. Friday, July 19, starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are free.

Known for raw vocals, solid guitar styling and a rhythm section that’s second to none, Dick Earl’s Electric Witness has garnered acclaim from audiences near and far, appearing at the Utah Blues Festival and the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. Founder and frontman Dick Earl, a veteran studio musician and member of the Las Vegas Blues Society, is joined onstage by Isaac Ericksen, Mari Ericksen and Thomas Anderson, talented young musicians who also call Southern Utah home. Saturday, July 20, starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are free.

Hailing from the gold country of rural Georgia, Tom Bennett headed out West at the age of 19 and has become a fan favorite in Southern Utah with his entertaining blend of outlaw country and blues. Essentially a one-man band, he tours nationally and has opened for legendary acts like Billy Strings; he also co-founded the Colorado City Music Festival. Friday, July 26, starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are free.
