On Saturday, June 29 — from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. — the Central Iron County Water Conservancy District will be holding its annual festival featuring water saving technology, tips, expert advice and other aqua-related activities, according to a recent press release.

The day promises fun-filled activities and educational experiences that center around the importance of water conservation by bringing together families, water experts and community organizations for an interactive experience for all.

“Hosted by Central Iron County Water Conservancy District and Southwest Plumbing Supply, the festival aims to raise awareness about water issues while fostering a sense of community engagement and stewardship,” the media release said. “Held at the Main Street Park in the heart of Cedar City, this event promises to be a highlight of summer for residents and visitors alike.”

Jessica Staheli, public relations manager for the water district, said the festival would not be possible without several sponsors, including: Southwest Plumbing Supply, Chartwells Higher Ed, Ensign Engineering, Stantec Engineering, Carollo Engineers, Scholzen’s Products Company, Iron Mountain Plumbing, and others that can be found on the water district website.
