CEDAR CITY — A Wildlife Extravaganza focusing on Cedar Breaks National Monument’s mammals, plants, and ecology will run Friday-Sunday, June 7-9.

The three-day event will highlight pollinators, mammals and birds through activities held at the Visitor Center and the North View Overlook.

According to a news release, the National Park Service recommends visitors start their day by picking up a bingo card at the Visitor Center or the North View Overlook. It can be used to find common animals around the park, and once a “bingo” is completed, participants can win a sticker.

At both locations, patrons will have access to a pop-up table to meet park mammals by touching real pelts from animals found at Cedar Breaks and a chance to learn about how animals adapt to survive.

At the Visitor Center, participants can play games and learn about the pollinators at Cedar Breaks, then watch a demonstration on how pollinators use UV light to find nectar.
