Shortly before 5 p.m. Thursday, the St. George Police Department responded to a crash near 1079 E Riverside Drive.

A person in a white Toyota was in the center lane and attempted to turn left into a housing complex as traffic backed up, St. George Police Officer Dennis Blackman told St. George News. The driver of a blue Subaru was traveling toward River Road and hit the white vehicle.

No injuries were reported.

Blackman, who said the Toyota driver was cited for failing to yield while making a left turn, reminded drivers to “slow down and pay attention.”

“That’s my tip every day,” he added.

The St. George Fire Department and Gold Cross Ambulance also responded to the scene.

This report is based on information provided by law enforcement and may not contain the full scope of findings.
