Chris Myrick died at home on Jan. 25, 2024, of a cardiac event at the age of 61.  He was a brilliant man who will be remembered for his quick wit and sense of humor, his generosity and stimulating conversations. Chris was a loving brother, uncle and friend.  His unique perspectives on love, life and faith always prompted contemplation and brought insight and joy to those who knew him.

Chris is survived by his brothers David Myrick of Phoenix, Arizona, and Jonathan Myrick of Vienna, Virginia; nephews Zachary Myrick and Dylan Myrick; and his mother-in-law Sherrie Rosenkrantz.  He is predeceased by his parents Rufus and Marianne Myrick and his wife Debra Myrick.

Chris’ family would like to extend special thanks to Karin Hintze, who was a good friend to Chris and always provided a helping hand.

Chris’ remains will be scattered in a private ceremony at Zion National Park.
