FEATURE — The energy brought about by the new moon in Aquarius intensifies this week, as Venus and Mars align with Pluto.
Mars enters Aquarius on Monday, Feb. 12 at 11:05 p.m. MDT, where it will remain until March 22. Mars, a planet associated with drive, energy, action, desire and aggression, brings erratic energy levels when in Aquarius. We are more likely to be cooperative and willing to stray from the norm in order to achieve goals.
On the eve of Valentine’s Day at 11:05 p.m., Mars will align with Pluto at zero degrees Aquarius. This conjunction increases ambition, intimate desire and a want for power. Suppressing this energy could result in emotional outbursts. Physical exertion can help release this pent-up energy. This is an excellent energy to pour into manifesting what you desire.
Venus enters Aquarius on Friday, Feb. 16, at 9:05 a.m. At this point, the sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars and Pluto all will be in the sign of Aquarius, which means the way we think, love, express, transform and shine will be influenced by the characteristics of the Water Bearer. Freedom, unconventionally, pioneering, authenticity and humanitarian aims flavor this week.
With Venus in Aquarius, we look to our lovers for friendship. Our attraction tends toward the unconventional, and those who are single are likely to be drawn toward the quirky traits of another. Venus will stay in Aquarius until March 11.
