CEDAR CITY — A third man suspected of involvement in the recent theft of dozens of guns from the Cedar City C-A-L Ranch store has been taken into custody by authorities in Nevada.
Parker DeVoge, 20, was picked up on Thursday without further incident by Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies in Caliente and taken to the county jail in Pioche, officials said.
Cedar City Police Sgt. Justin Ludlow told Cedar City News that two of the department’s detectives had been working with Lincoln County authorities, watching for DeVoge to show up at a friend’s house.
Although DeVoge wasn’t at the first location the officers checked, he subsequently was found at another location, whereupon he reportedly gave himself up, Ludlow added.
At the time this article was initially published, DeVoge was being held in the Lincoln County Jail in Pioche awaiting extradition (see update at bottom of story).
“He will have an extradition waiver hearing next week,” Iron County Attorney Chad Dotson told Cedar City News, adding that the entire process of bringing DeVoge back to Utah to face charges should take less than 45 days.
DeVoge’s arrest comes six days after two other suspected accomplices were arrested and booked into Iron County Jail on Dec. 22. One of them was Parker DeVoge’s father Darrell Glenn DeVoge, 48, while the other man was identified as Russell Gruber, 29.
All three men have been charged with multiple felonies in connection with the incident, which involved the alleged theft of approximately 75 firearms from the C-A-L Ranch store during the early morning hours of Nov. 22.
The charges against Parker DeVoge, which were filed Tuesday in 5th District Court, include two counts of aggravated burglary, a first-degree felony; five counts of theft of a firearm, a second-degree felony; and one count of property damage between $1,500-$4,999, a third-degree felony.

Update Jan. 8, 5 p.m.: On Friday, Jan. 5, Parker DeVoge was extradited from Nevada and booked into Iron County Jail shortly after noon.
