ST. GEORGE — The Trailblazers hope to snap two streaks Saturday afternoon.

Utah Tech University’s football team has lost three consecutive games. Meanwhile, No. 14 Austin Peay, the Trailblazers’ opponent, has won seven in a row and is in first place in the United Athletic Conference.

Austin Peay is 7-2 overall and 4-0 in UAC play. A 33-30 win over Eastern Kentucky last week put the Governors in the top spot in the conference.

The Trailblazers (2-7, 1-3) will face the Governors on the gridiron for the first time in program history and will be playing in the state of Tennessee for the first time.

Utah Tech, which dropped a 24-7 road loss last week at Abilene Christian, kicks off against Austin Peay on Saturday at noon, MDT. Listen to the live broadcast by Voice of the Trailblazers Rod Zundel at The Fan Sports Network.

The Trailblazers return home to St. George for their last football game of the season, Saturday, Nov. 18, against Southern Utah University in the annual Battle of the Axe.
