At the federal level, congressional candidates in this year’s special election are vying to replace retired Congressman Chris Stewart who left office last month.

In the municipal races, various town and city council seats are up for grabs.

While much attention is given across the state to the upcoming primary showdown between Republican Candidate Celeste Maloy and Democrat candidate Kathleen Riebe, local officials, particularly past and present Washington County clerk/auditors, say elections at the local level have the most direct impact on the people.

What follows is information for voters focused on mail-in ballots and drop box locations, in-person voting locations and dates to know for the 2023 general election for Iron and Washington counties.
