“It gives people an opportunity to go to a car dealership without the pressure,” said Jessica Kroll, internet sales manager at Stephen Wade Toyota. “You can just come in and have fun and get to know us.”

The trunk or treat will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 31, from 4-6 p.m. Stephen Wade Toyota is part of Southern Utah’s Auto Mall, located at 150 Auto Mall Drive in St. George.

Everyone at the dealership, from sales and service to parts and reception, pitches in to make it a fun event for families. Many employees will be showing off brand-new costumes and handing out novelty items and prizes along with sweets.

The dealership will be decorated with jack-o’-lanterns styled by Stephen Wade Toyota employees as part of a company-wide pumpkin carving contest; visitors are asked to vote for their favorites before leaving. There’s also a festive family photo booth.

“It sounds silly but that’s actually one of my favorite things, because how often do Mom and Dad get a photo with their kids?” Kroll said. “Usually, they’re taking the photos. It’s an opportunity for that memory to last.”

Upon arriving at Stephen Wade Toyota, every trunk-or-treater will receive a map of the dealership. Each stop features a cleverly decorated car where kids can collect candy. Click here to download the map.

The trunk or treat has been growing year over year, and Kroll said she’s expecting at least 500 visitors this time around. She was inspired to start the event after moving to St. George and taking a job at Stephen Wade Auto Center. Her hope is to connect with customers on a more personal level by showing them everything Stephen Wade Toyota has to offer.

“We aren’t just a car dealership,” she added. “We’re part of the community. Our kids go to the same schools, our families shop at the same grocery stores.”

“It’s just a fun family event,” said Jamie Bahlmann, public relations director for Stephen Wade Auto Center. “It’s one day when we want to give back and welcome our Toyota customers and the community to our dealership.”

Stephen Wade Auto Center is always working to build stronger kids, families and neighborhoods. Supported by generations of loyal customers, they’ve been giving back to Southern Utah for nearly 30 years and don’t plan on slowing down anytime soon. Learn more at stephenwade.com/community
