ST. GEORGE — Police say a runaway teen who had been missing for more than two weeks has been found.
Keisha Jolene Gomez, 14, had been missing for more than two weeks but officers say she was not in any danger and was described as “couch hopping.”
Police have released a statement that Gomez has been located. “The juvenile runaway has been located and she is safe. Thank you for all the tips,” the statement released Monday said.
At the time she had gone missing officer Tiffany Mitchell with the St. George Police Department told St. George News the thought was she was “in town with friends. Nothing would suggest she’s in danger,” Mitchell said. “Sometimes when you have kids staying at your house, the adults may not realize something’s wrong. She can probably fly under the radar for a little bit.”
