SOUTHERN UTAH — Thursday evening’s storm over Southern Utah saw dazzling displays of lightning, some heavy rain and sporadic hail in parts of Washington and Iron counties.
The clouds, red rock landscape and thunderous light displays throughout the night. Areas impacted included St. George, Hurricane, Cedar City, Zion National Park, Enoch, Parowan, New Harmony, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Summit, Kanarraville, Brian Head, Hamilton Fort and Kolob Canyon as the storm blew north into Beaver County.
St. George News asked the Southern Utah community to submit photos of the storm and its aftermath, which can be viewed in the gallery below.
