UPDATED: Police arrest suspect after shooting death at Hurricane club

HURRICANE — A 55-year-old man was arrested for alleged murder in Hurricane early Saturday morning.

According to a news release issued by Hurricane City Police Department, Bryan Hill was taken into custody without incident at his residence, located in the area of 600 West 100 N., at approximately 12:50 a.m.

According to the release, Hurricane City Police officers responded to a possible shooting at the Eagles Lodge located at 495 East 800 N. at approximately 11 p.m. Friday. Responders found a man who had been shot, and he reportedly succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The deceased was identified as Sean Moore, a 41-year-old Hurricane resident. Multiple witnesses were able to identify Hill as the suspect who reportedly fled the scene in his vehicle.

Hill was booked into Purgatory Correctional Facility at 5:35 a.m. Saturday on five charges: murder, aggravated assault, felony discharge of a weapon, use of a concealed weapon in a violent felony and possession of a weapon under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
