CONTRIBUTED CONTENT — Designed with the desert in mind, energy-efficient Immaculate Homes are being constructed across Washington County. Built by locals for locals, they’re creating homes that just might make your new neighbors jealous.

“I love building homes,” Immaculate Homes Owner Jason Christensen said. “I love to come up with new ideas, and I’m always looking for the next trend. I just love architecture. I love building. I love trim work. I love seeing the simplicity and complexity that can go into it.”

Owned and operated by locals, Immaculate Homes understands the unique desert climate and weathering. Highly experienced in energy efficiency, they offer builds with passive solar designs that result in lower energy costs. Designs include shading and positioning windows and roof overhangs, making indoor temperatures more comfortable while also being more environmentally friendly.

“We live here,” sales manager Kyle Clark said. “Our families live in the community. Our kids go to school here. Our subcontractors are all from here locally.”

Locally owned, they know the wear and tear the red desert sand can have on homes. Thus, they design homes to keep out the sand, while also informing customers about the possible effects the sand may have on the exterior color of a home over time, so customers can make informed decisions.

Christensen said Immaculate Homes takes pride in the community, being mindful of the picturesque surroundings and building homes that coincide with the landscape.

“We’re also giving back to the community and leaving a positive impact on the community around us,” he added.

Immaculate Homes was originally started as Immaculate Construction in 1997. Christensen and his brother both come from a background of finish carpentry and custom home building. After seeing a need for high-end, semi-custom to full-custom builds in Southern Utah 10 years ago, Christensen and Clark brought the company to St. George.

So what sets Immaculate Homes apart?

Immaculate Homes specializes in designing and building energy-efficient homes. Everything is completely custom from the planning process through the build, and customers have direct access to Clark and Christensen instead of being handed off to someone else. Cutting out the middleman means they pass along their buying power savings to the customer.

From concrete footing and home framing to sheetrock and cabinet building, Immaculate Homes understands the entire experience.

“I’ve been around it all and I’ve done it, so I understand it well,” Christensen said

“We’ve got our hands dirty; we’ve swung the hammers,” Clark added. “And we know what it takes to get the job done right.”

Both Christensen and Clark are builders who are on-site and available to sit down with clients, working with their architects and designers to design a plan specific to each client’s unique wants and needs.

Currently, Immaculate Homes has numerous developments underway including the lake community of Southern Shores and Majestic Fields in Washington Fields. Christensen said they can build anywhere in Washington County and can assist clients in finding a lot and completing due diligence to ensure the lot is sound and buildable.

“Come to us. Put it all on our plate and we take care of it,” Clark said. “We’re here to build lasting relationships with our clients.”

“We don’t want to just build their first home, we want to build their last home, too,” Christensen added.
