“Each year, we try to bring excitement, activities and attractions to celebrate Independence Day,” Aaron Metler, the city of St. George’s recreation manager for Races and Special Events said in a news release. “This year our celebration will be better than ever.”

One of the highlights of the Fourth of July celebration will be the Independence Carnival, which will take place June 30-July 4.

Always popular with children and young adults, the carnival includes a wide array of attractions for people of all ages, including a Ferris wheel, thrill rides and traditional carnival food.

“If you plan on going to the Independence Carnival on the 4th, I recommend purchasing a Mega Pass ahead of the event,” Metler added. “It costs $40 if you buy in advance and it offers so much value. Not only does it get you on every carnival ride, but the Mega Pass includes every ride, inflatable and climbing wall, and includes free access to other off-site activities such as both city pools, the St. George Carousel and the train at Thunder Junction All Abilities Park.”
