Be the envy of your block with EverLights, Southern Utah’s leader in permanent exterior lighting

CONTRIBUTED CONTENT — Are you tired of risking life and limb to hang Christmas lights only to take them down a month later? Say goodbye to the annual tradition of untangling strands, balancing on ladders and replacing burnt-out bulbs. With EverLights, it’s a one-and-done project.

Southern Utah homeowners can spend more time enjoying family and less time on the roof with discreet, aesthetically pleasing permanent exterior lighting for any occasion from EverLights.

EverLights can be installed in as little as a day and enjoyed year-round. They blend in seamlessly with your home; no wires or clips are visible during the daytime. A user-friendly smartphone app allows homeowners to create and control dazzling light shows sure to be the hit of any street.

“You’ll see neighbors taking a second – or third – look,” EverLights St. George branch manager Chris Muegge said.

Headquartered in Lindon, Utah, EverLights launched nine years ago and now serves roughly half of the United States. Their Southern Utah division installs lights throughout Washington and Iron counties.

Muegge said growth has been more than doubling year over year, largely due to referrals from many happy customers. The company has installed lights on hundreds of local homes and businesses.

EverLights utilizes LED technology rated for 50,000 hours of continuous use. Products are developed and manufactured according to the specifications of their in-house design team, and unlike many contractors and dealers, the company doesn’t hire third-party installation crews. Muegge and his team work directly for EverLights.

“You’ll get the most professional installation team with an amazing install on your home, as well as our best-in-class warranty,” he said.

There’s no cost or obligation to get a free estimate from EverLights. Once the homeowner signs an agreement, they only put 20% down to start the installation process.

EverLights are essentially maintenance-free once the system is installed, and they’re covered under a lifetime warranty. With a repair rate of only 1%, the lights are built to withstand heat, cold, inclement weather and the test of time.

Using the award-winning EverLights app for iOS and Android, designed by the company’s in-house software engineers, customers can control their lights from anywhere in the world with cell service or a Wi-Fi connection. They can program the lights to turn on and off at any desired time and select from a variety of preset sequences or create their own. Effects include fading, blinking, twinkling, strobing, chasing and many more. With 16 million colors and unlimited combinations, the possibilities are truly endless.

“You can literally create thousands of your own light sequences with our programs and effects, plus the easy-to-use patterns that are already in the app. You can also tweak the pre-programmed sequences to your liking if you want,” Muegge said. “My favorite pattern is the ‘America.’ It’s an amazing red, white and blue chasing pattern.”

EverLights have won multiple awards for best permanent holiday home lighting, including a silver ribbon in last year’s Best of Southern Utah contest. They’re perfect for adding a bit of Christmas cheer, setting a spooky mood for Halloween or showing patriotic pride on the Fourth of July.

But you don’t need a special occasion to use EverLights. Muegge said many customers program their system to come on each night and add beautiful, subtle ambient lighting to their home exterior.

“We have the cleanest installation of all lights out there,” he added. “We also point our lights outward so you’re able to see them from all angles.”

EverLights are installed in the top lip of the gutter and spaced 9 inches apart. If the home doesn’t have a gutter, the installation crew will use a channel that mounts to the stucco or fascia to hold the lights in place.

The lights can be attached to any type of home as well as commercial buildings. EverLights currently adorn the Marriott, Balance of Nature, Applebee’s and both Chick-fil-A locations in St. George, among others.

“The lights look amazing, and you can’t even see them during the day,” Muegge said. “You have to point them out to people.”
