He was born on Dec. 23, 1929, to Joseph Harvey Wright and Lula DeMille Wright. He married Rayma Slack Wright on Sept. 2, 1950, in Pacific Grove, California.
He was a member of the LDS church, where he held many positions.
In 1948, with his dad’s signature, he joined the Army. Then in 1950, he was sent to Japan and then to Korea. When he returned in 1953 to the states, he got out of the military and moved to Cedar City, Utah. In 1954, he moved his family to the Monterey Peninsula in California. Bryant retired from the Fort Ord Fire Department as a captain. In 1977, with his wife and younger son, David moved to St George, Utah.
He is survived by his three children: Susan (Pete)Sandholdt, Lynn(Kim)Wright and David (Dru)Wright. He has 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan 14, at 11 a.m. at the LDS church on 88 S River Road in St. George. The viewing will be at 10 a.m. The graveside service will be at the Hurricane cemetery.
