Traffic alert: UDOT alerts motorists of traffic delays on I-15 near Leeds; chains required for all semis

ST. GEORGE — Snowy weather conditions between Leeds and Toquerville on Interstate 15 are causing traffic delays. Motorists in the area should expect delays.

Both northbound and southbound lanes of travel on I-15 from approximately 4 miles north of Leeds to mile marker 27 in Toquerville are experiencing delays of less than five minutes, according to information posted just before 5 a.m. by the Utah Department of Transportation. Clearance time is not expected until noon.

Roadway restriction chains or approved traction control devices are required for all semitractor-trailers.
