The newest addition to The Haven will be dedicated with a grand opening event at the clubhouse on Thursday. At noon, members of the Hurricane Valley Chamber of Commerce will lead a ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside residents and staff of The Haven.

The fun continues until 2 p.m. with giveaways of gift cards to local restaurants and goodie bags for the first 100 people who stop by. The Haven will be serving finger foods, fountain drinks and water.

“We’re just excited for our community to come see what we’ve built and what we’re providing for seniors,” marketing director Drake Vincent said.

The Haven Villas provide a relaxed lifestyle where residents can maintain their independence while enjoying everything The Haven retirement community has to offer. Each of the 18 independent living units has been crafted to meet the needs of seniors looking to downsize and more fully enjoy their “golden years” in a carefree environment.

Located right across the street from the assisted living and memory care facilities, The Haven Villas are designed for retirees wanting to simplify their lives. Independent living provides freedom from the everyday hassle of homeownership with access to resort-quality amenities. Each two-bedroom unit boasts nearly 1,400 square feet of open living space featuring plenty of natural light with views of the Pine Valley Mountains, high ceilings, a full kitchen, a laundry room, front and rear covered porches and an oversized single-car garage with storage space. The Haven Villas have their own clubhouse, pool, pickleball courts and pavilion.

All utilities, including TV and internet, are included. The Haven also provides weekly cleaning and laundry service plus a 24/7 emergency alert system and security for added peace of mind.

Vincent said he’s particularly excited to show off the clubhouse, pool and pickleball courts, which have all been completed within the past few weeks.

“It’s taken us a year to get here,” he added. “We’ve already got a few residents living here and more signed up.”

Nestled in the scenic Hurricane Valley, The Haven isn’t your ordinary retirement community. The Haven welcomes seniors who are opening a new chapter in their life’s journey with premier independent living, assisted living and memory care services.

Amenities include a putting green, pool hall, game room, craft room, hair salon, movie theater and full-size gymnasium. Residents can gather with new friends or visiting relatives for elegant restaurant-style dining with a gourmet chef. Additionally, the staff provides a myriad of daily life enrichment activities and entertainment options, like weekly outings to Zion National Park and Snow Canyon State Park.

Residents enjoy a spacious open floor plan with common areas, a group dining room and large bay windows to let in an abundance of natural light. Spectacular views accent the dining patio, vegetable garden and fishing pond.

The community also encompasses a 12-apartment memory care facility with a Montessori program for residents living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. The care program focuses on people-centered activities to stimulate the senses and promote physical, emotional and social well-being.

The Haven is locally owned and operated. Its founders are involved with the day-to-day operations of the community as well as the residents themselves, having spared no expense in creating an active retirement lifestyle with care and support that makes it truly feel like home.
