Phyllis Kennedy passed away on June 26, 2022, in Washington, Utah, after being diagnosed with liver cancer in December 2021 at the age of 73. She was born on Sept. 27, 1948, to Lucian and Donna Miller in Toledo, Ohio, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her spouse of 46 years John L. Kennedy; son David (Kim); three step-children John Jr. (Ida), Michele (Scott) and Mike; two granddaughters Ellie and Ashley; great-grandson Luke; sister Sharon (Jack) Wineman; and a special niece Melissa (Todd) and children.
What became most important in Phyllis’ life the last couple of years was a wonderful, personal relationship she had with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the fellowship and learning of God’s word at Red Mesa Fellowship. St. George, Utah. She looked forward to her heavenly home.
Her earthly remains will be buried at Tonaquint Cemetery on Thursday, June 30, at 9:30 a.m. but her soul will be going to meet the Lord. What a blessed assurance we have.
