Troy Bennett Hammon

Nov. 4, 2011 — Sept. 17, 2017

Troy Bennett Hammon, age 5, passed away Sept. 17, 2017. He was born Nov. 4, 2011, in Bolivar, Missouri, to Amanda Nichole Dunaway and Benjamin Lee Hammon.

Bennett moved to North Dakota with his family when he was five months old, and more recently moved to St. George, Utah, in June of 2016. For such a tender age, Bennett lived a big life and traveled with his family on many trips and adventures. A bright and engaging spirit, he made friends everywhere he went, even in the bathroom stalls.

Bennett adored his little brother Shane (age 4) and baby sister Chloe (age 1). He was his dad’s best friend, his mom’s right hand and Shane and Chloe’s adoring protector. His little cousins also held a special place in his heart.

“Kitty,” Superman, Paw Patrol, ‘toast & white’ and exciting adventures were a few of Bennett’s favorite things. He was loud, musical, eager to learn and a “super fast” runner. Words cannot express the loss or fill the void that Bennett leaves behind, but memories of him, our little superhero, will live within our hearts forever.

Bennett is survived by his parents, siblings, Shane Jeffery Hammon and Chloe Rae Hammon; grandparents Kera L. Schroer, Rodney D. Schroer, Jeffery K. Dunaway, Heather Dunaway, J. LeGrand Hammon, Susan Z. Hammon, Shem L. Mackert and Julie A. Nielsen; great grandparents Marti Seale, Lorin C. Zitting and Hazel E. Zitting; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
