ST. GEORGE — Utah Tech University women’s tennis went 2-2 last week, including a pair of 7-0 sweeps of Eastern Arizona.

The two wins were the Trailblazers’ first of the season. Utah Tech now stands at 2-12 overall and 0-2 in the Western Athletic Conference, according to Utah Tech Athletics.

The two-nonconference wins were accompanied by two losses — a 7-0 defeat at the hands of New Mexico State and a 6-1 loss to Grand Canyon. The lone Trailblazer victor was freshman Raquel Roshak, who earned her first singles win of the season with a three-set victory at No. 6 singles over GCU’s Hebe Toyos, 4-6, 6-3, 10-6.
