Mark Charles Rhoads

Oct. 10, 1967-Nov. 14, 2022

Mark Charles Rhoads, age 55, beloved father, husband, son and friend passed away Nov. 14, 2022, in St George, Utah. Mark’s passing comes with great sadness, and he will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He was born on Oct. 10, 1967, in Pullman Washington, to Merle Charles Rhoads and Beverly Ann Webb. He married Shara Rene Roberge Rhoads in June 1992. They had four wonderful children and later divorced.

He married Kristen Bradburn in Long Beach, Washington, on Aug. 21, 2013. They fulfilled each other’s dreams for the past 10 years and created a lifetime of memories.

Mark grew up working on cars and loved dirt biking, riding snowmobiles, camping and fishing. His passion for these never stopped. Mark had a contagious smile and loved to talk with anyone who he spent time with. He found great joy in the simple things of life. He always had a spotless car, home and yard.

He was a dedicated husband and loved to serve his wife Kristen, always bringing flowers, cards and surprises to brighten her day. They were best friends and forever partners. Kristen will be forever grateful for his unending companionship and love.

Mark and Kristen loved to travel and recently visited Italy, Greece, Malta, Roswell and White Sands New Mexico, Salem and Boston, Massachusetts, and Durango and Mesa Verde Colorado. Mark loved working on anything mechanical, and he could fix or build anything. He had a great passion for working on cars, building jeeps and perfecting the yard. Mark was a friend to everyone; he was so caring and genuinely friendly to anyone he encountered.

Mark worked in several fields during his lifetime including highway patrol, construction, owning an insurance company, working as a real estate broker, owning his own restoration business and, most recently, working at St George Regional Medical Center in maintenance. He truly enjoyed his time with Intermountain Healthcare. He became good friends with his co-workers, and they were a big part of his life.

Mark would do anything for you if you offered him chocolate and could sniff out cookies hidden anywhere in the house. He loved his family and children and was so proud of each of them.

Mark is survived by his wife Kristen; children Zachary Rhoads, Sydni Hays (James), Trenten Rhoads (Shelby Nichols), Maegan Rhoads, Gabriel Bradburn (Shalise Holm), Tucker Bradburn, Lacey Bradburn and Samson Bradburn; grandchild Emma Rhoads; brothers Jon Rhoads (Cristi) and Todd (Jennifer); and parents Merle Charles Rhoads and Beverly Ann Rhoads.
