ST. GEORGE — Aileen K Allen Lance Cochrane, age 73, of La Verkin Utah, passed away on Nov. 6, 2022, surrounded by loved ones after a long and hard-fought battle with scoliosis and the side effects of multiple surgeries.

 Aileen was the daughter of Robert Allen and Margaret Stobes Allen, and was born on March 27, 1949, in Grand Junction Colorado. Aileen was their third child, with a brother Robert Allen Jr. and a sister Norma Allen Hardman. She attended school in Palisade and graduated in 1967. After her graduation she married her high school sweetheart Lavern Lance. They moved to Utah in the early 1970s and raised their family there. They had three children Alicia Gibson, Justin Lance and Conrad Lance.

Lavern passed away in 1986. Aileen met her soon-to-be husband Lonnie Cochrane in 1989 and they moved to La Verkin in spring  1998. Aileen sold real estate, worked for the local veterinarian and worked for local grocery stores in Hurricane and La Verkin, retiring in 2011. 

She leaves behind her husband Lonnie, her daughter, two sons, two stepsons (Casey and Jacob Cochrane),and was preceded in death by her father, mother and brother. Aileen loved animals of all kinds, and she enjoyed for many years riding on the back of their motorcycle through many Western states and served as an officer of the GWRRA Association.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 14, 2022, at noon at the La Verkin LDS Chapel, 70 S. 300 W. La Verkin, Utah. A visitation will be held prior to services from 10:30-11:45 a.m. at the same location. Interment will be in the Santaquin City Cemetery 100 E. 300 S. Santaquin, Utah, on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022, at 1 p.m.
