ST. GEORGE — One person was transported to the hospital after a driver failed to navigate a turn and rolled their vehicle Sunday afternoon.
Law enforcement received reports of a crash at about 3:54 p.m. on Old Dixie Highway 91, Lance Haynie, a fire management officer for Santa Clara – Ivins Fire and Rescue said.
The driver of a white Chevrolet Tahoe traveling southbound “failed to navigate the turn and made contact with the surrounding terrain,” losing control. The vehicle rolled over, Haynie said.
One patient was transported to St. George Regional Hospital by SCI Fire and Rescue in unknown condition, Haynie said. It is not known whether the driver was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The Beaver Dam Fire Department and Washington County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene.
