CONTRIBUTED CONTENT — Entertaining Southern Utah since 1993, Fiesta Fun Family Fun Center is where the fun never sets. They keep finding new ways to put smiles on customers’ faces, and now they’re inviting the community to celebrate the grand opening of their brand-new go-kart track.

“We want to be the go-to spot in St. George for families to come and have fun,” facility director Weston Monson said. “We’re open every day of the year except Christmas, so there’s always something to do!”

Join the party on Saturday, July 20, for plenty of thrills, prizes and, of course, fun. Along with a ribbon-cutting at 11 a.m., there will be food trucks, free snow cones, free face painting and more. Plus, Fiesta Fun will be giving away a gift card every 30 minutes between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Fiesta Fun tore out their original go-kart track, which was built almost 30 years ago and heavily worn from decades of enjoyment, last November. Although customers have missed being able to race, Monson assured Southern Utah families that the improvements will be well worth the wait.

The new track is 900 feet long and features plenty of twists and turns to keep racers on their toes. While the old track, which measured 750 feet in length, could only accommodate 12 go-karts per race, up to 21 drivers can now join the fun. This expansion not only helps reduce wait times but also makes the experience far more exciting, Monson said.

“There are no boring straightaways,” he added. “It’s constant racing. You really feel like you’re in the action the whole time.”

Safety is always a priority at Fiesta Fun, and the new go-kart track also includes an improved rail system and more durable gates to keep both employees and customers protected.

Everyone who buys a go-kart ticket during the grand opening celebration will receive a free pass to another attraction of their choice, including the newly renovated bumper boats. Fiesta Fun has just reopened its bumper boat pond, which now features two fountains instead of one for double the splashing, plus an enhanced filtration system that keeps the water crystal clear.

The expansion also allows more boats to be launched each ride so customers don’t have to wait in line too long. It’s a great way for both kids and adults to cool off on a hot summer day, Monson said.

Fiesta Fun also offers a 4,000-square-foot, two-story laser tag arena with a viewing room, 20 bowling lanes, two 18-hole miniature golf courses and the largest arcade in Southern Utah. Along with more than 100 traditional arcade favorites, Fiesta Fun takes gaming to the next level with interactive virtual reality experiences.

Having an empty stomach is never fun, so families can fill up on burgers, sandwiches, pizza, wings, wraps and more at the Barre Grill before hitting the batting cages or kiddie karts. Can’t get enough? Fiesta Fun sells gift cards, attraction pass bundles and unlimited fun passes that keep the party going all day long.

Fiesta Fun is also the perfect place to celebrate a birthday or organize a group get-together with packages that take the stress out of party planning. Games, activities, pizza, ice cream and even a personal host – it’s all included, and you can have it your way. Additionally, customers can reserve the private B Lounge for an exclusive experience.

With 40,000 total square feet of activities for all ages, Fiesta Fun is Southern Utah’s No. 1 family entertainment destination. Stop by the go-kart grand opening or visit fiestafuncenter.com to find out more.
