ST. GEORGE — Those looking for a new place to eat in Hurricane are in for a treat, as Café Rio Mexican Grill will be among the city’s dining options next year.

According to a press release issued Thursday, Café Rio plans to unveil its new concept building, designed to harmonize with Café Rio’s vibrant ambiance and famous Tex-Mex cuisine. The new concept will be constructed in collaboration with Shakespeare Development and will open in mid-2025.

Café Rio joins the Hurricane development with Buck’s Ace Hardware, which is currently under construction with their 42,000-square-foot facility.

NAI Excel Sr. Vice President Brandon Vandermyde was one of the driving forces behind this venture and helped broker the deal, ensuring that Café Rio’s expansion into Hurricane becomes a reality.

“Vandermyde’s expertise and dedication have been instrumental in shaping this milestone moment for Café Rio and the local community,” the release states.
