Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash on Minersville Highway in Enoch

ST. GEORGE — A crash in the Enoch area Friday evening resulted in a motorcyclist being flown to the hospital.

The incident was reported around 5:15 p.m. following a collision between a motorcycle and Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck in the area of state Route 130 (Minersville Highway) and Blue Sky Drive.

Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Chris Bishop said in a text to Cedar City News the motorcycle driver had been northbound on the Minersville Highway when the pickup truck turned left from Blue Sky Drive hit the motorcycle.

“The rider of the motorcycle was transported by air to an area hospital with serious injuries,” Bishop wrote.

Intermountain Health’s Life Flight helicopter responded to the incident, as did Gold Cross Ambulance in addition to the Utah Highway Patrol.
